Missouri Ozark Mensa Activities
We have activities for a variety of interests, personalities, and ages. You will find a detailed list with descriptions on the Events and Gatherings Page. The Events Calendar Page and Coming Events Tab of the Home Page has the current schedule of events. The events in the Calendar has links to interactive maps to help you find your way and the most of the entries on the Coming Events Tab has a link to the contact person's email in the event you have questions or want to RSVP.
We're looking for suggestions and hosts for events like monthly Games Night, dinners, book clubs and discusstion groups, whether for small or large gatherings. Hopefully we can schedule monthly opportunities for trying out a variety of cuisines when members gather at area restaurants for food events. Also, a dinner for new members might be another possible event.
Every month, our Steering Committee could get together for dinner and a business meeting at which finances will be reviewed and decisions about upcoming events and activities are made. Members would always be welcome to attend to watch their elected officers in action as they manage the affairs and plan the events for the whole membership.
After a period of inactivity, due in large part to Covid, we are working to reactdivate the chapter and get members participating in events and activities.
